This is the Premiere Launch of the Cousins Picnic web site. Hopefully it will help to keep all of us more up to date with what's going on in our family (and, of course extensions thereof).

It goes without saying that we all have a great time at the Annual Picnic. But, many of us do not see each other again until the next picnic (that's a whole year), so it's hard to keep up with what everybody's doing (the grapevine just isn't that good)! There are also parts of our family that can't make it to Fair Lawn, NJ because they live too far away.

This web site can change all that -- but we'll need your help. Anytime you have any news about you and/or your family, you can just post it to the site so all the Cousins can enjoy your good news. Even if the news is not good, it's still a way of letting the family know someone is in need. This can be a great way for us to communicate with each other and have some fun!

Raphael S. Hughes 3/30/1933 - 5/16/2007 -- Sadly, Ray Hughes passed away in his sleep at a hospital in Michigan. He will be buried with his wife Joan and the arrangements for Ray are as follows:

June 13 , 2004 - Olivia Grace Heyer arrives!

We are happy to announce the arrival of Olivia Grace Heyer on April 2, 2004 weighing in at 7lbs. 3oz. and 20.5" long. Mom (my wife Kristen) and baby are doing great and we're all on cloud nine as this is the first grandchild on both sides of the family! Liv will make her debut at the Cousins Picnic and we're very excited to see you all! Here's the latest picture of the little one....

Maureen (Hughes) and Jim McAloon gave birth to a lovely baby boy named Rory William on December 18, 2003. Rory weighed in at 8 lbs, 4 ozs. The McAloon's now have 4 children; Sean, Kate, Colleen and Rory. All are doing fine...Congratulations!

On November 4th,2003, Bridget and Ted Hughes welcomed their new baby boy, Cavan Martin Hughes at 6 lbs. 1oz. and 18 1/2 inches long. The twins have now become the big brother and sister. All are doing well...Congratulations!
